EGYPTIAN STORYTELLING

Fifth graders studied the Cleveland Museum slides illustrating Egyptian art. Focusing on the storytelling element present and the culture's wish to document everyday activities, boys and girls then created an Egyptian style story of a day in their life. Note how they took care to draw people in the ancient Egyptian style while combining modern day elements. The story is divided into a beginning, middle and end.
